Massive paws left shallow dints in the earth, a low growl rumbled from bared teeth. The female lion could sense this land was once owned, yet she knew nobody had been here for a long time. She walked across the plains, eyes peering up at a huge rocky mountain, where several antelopes raised their heads and bounded down the other side, stretching across the east side of the plains. She was hungry, but it was stinking hot, and she din't have the energy to hunt right at that time. Yet she was experienced was infact an amazing hunter. Jaws jacked open, panting, tongue rolling within her massive maw, she yawned and peered over at a shady spot beneath the mountain. Fixing her golden orbs firmly to her destinaton, she loped steadily towards it. It felt like forever as she moved closer, and finaly dumped her sun-blessed bod on the cool grass. She moaned as she rolled onto her side, feeling quite secure in her surroundings, she was fairly sure no other lions where about.
