Name: Azrael
Sex: Lioness
Age: 5 years
Breed: African Lion
Personality: Azrael is usually a pretty cautious lioness, though her eyes as friendly as ever. She does not have one outstanding skill but yet many adequate ones, making her an overall well rounded lion. When meeting new lions she tends to seem a bit mean at first as she takes some time to warm up to people. Once she trusts someone and has befriended a lion she will give her life for them and treat them with the utmost respect. She yearns to be the leader of a pride one day, though knows that first she must join one. Her great sense of judgement allows her to have the perfect personality in order to lead aside an alpha one day. Even though her main goal is to become a leader she also knows how to fall in line and take orders, bowing to others rank in times of need.
History: Azrael is not the product of any high ranking lions, in fact, she is the offspring of to outsiders. Her parents had only known each other for a few days before they had mated, soon to give birth to Azrael and her two brothers. After they were born her father deserted her mother and eventually their mother went hunting one night and never returned. Her brothers were not cunning enough to survive on their own, and for awhile Azrael tried her best to help them survive.
At night she would catch small animals such as field mice, or even sometimes rabbits she caught in the thicket. But after awhile it became to hard to be able to feed not just herself but two other cubs as well, as she was forced to feed them less everyday. Eventually they both died, one being taken by a hyena and the other dying of starvation. Azrael grieved for quite awhile before moving on and away from her past. To this day she has not been around any other lions; in a friendly matter of course. At times she had been run off by other prides, almost killed in fact. But this only made her more stronger emotionly, as well as physically.
Now at her prime age she longs for a home, for a pride that she can call her own. Perhaps even a mate, as she has yet to have any cubs. But all she really would like is a family that she can love and trust, and she looks for this everyday as she walks across the lonely Savana plains.
