 A golden brute jumped upon a large rock beside the rushing waterfall. He looked down at the waterfall, relishing in the fact that he could see all of the lowerlands. A soft breeze ruffled his multi-coloured mane into a wild fuzz. His brown tufted tail whipped behind him, coursing through the air. After a few more moments of surveying the land the male had made up his mind. This land would be his.
A loud roar sounded from his maw. It split the air open, causing a brightly coloured bird nearby to fly away sqwauking. The sound of the roar spoke of his dominance here. Finishing, he started to mark his territory before laying down under an acacia tree with a sigh. For now his job was done. The land was his. |

Her tail lagged behind her as she moved towards the terra. Her ears flicked forwards once she heard the roar from the male. her Brown eyes scanned the land infront of her as if it would save her in a matter of seconds.
Her muscles relxed slightly as she roared allowing the brute to know she was there and she hoped her would allow her in the lands.
Her goal was to find a pride, and a possible mate, Have cubs and watch them grow for the most part. It was why she was there, To reach the first step, A Pride.

He stretched and stood, shaking his now dusty body. Just as he was about to move a roar sounded. He thingyed his head and listened carefully. Not a challenging one but a roar to let him know of their exsistance, he thought as he marched forward. The sound was not unlike a female call.
The brute reached her in record time and stood on a rock some feet above her. He took in her beautiful pelt and young age. The lion growled to let her know of his presence before speaking.

She waited hoping the burte would hear and come to her for her to enter the land. She sighed and waited, Standing in a submissive pose.
She Twichted as she heard his growl then tunred to him. Her brown eyes studying his form. she listened to his words and nodded.
"Nala.. To Join the Pride..."
She said in a Hopful voice as she lowered her head and gazed at his filled mane. Her tail swayed from side-to-side as she stood there her eyes glancing around in case the male may want to attack her.

The male listened to the lionesses words and gave a curt nod. He looked at her tan lithe frame below him, her eyes staring at his. The lion looked around before speaking.
Nala is it? I'm Kalu, the leader of the Blue Pride. It would be an honour for you to be part of my pride he said, jumping down from the rock and procceded to circle her, smelling her scent so as to know her by smell not just sight.

Nala smiled and nodded as she watched him circle her. Her nose taking in his scent as she knew she had to know it. She looked around and sighed then looked back to the lion.
